The contest opens on February 1, 2027 and closes on March 15, 2027 at midnight PST, for writers living in the United States. A manuscript is about 18 to 30 pages in one document; poems may have appeared individually, but the whole must be unpublished. Simultaneous submissions are allowed with notice, and the fee is $25.00. The grand prize is $750 and 10 copies, Ellen Bass judges, and the winner is announced by July 31, 2027.
